Your Plan Options

To help limit your out-of-pocket expenses not covered by Original Medicare, private insurance companies offer two distinct Medicare health plans. They are: Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage.
Medicare Supplement Plan (often called Medigap)
- Helps pay some of the health care costs that Original Medicare does not cover like coinsurance, copays or deductibles
- Have no restrictive networks – you may see any Doctor and use any facility that accepts Medicare patients
- Plan is portable…if you move to another state, your coverage goes with you
- You pay a monthly premium for this type of coverage
Note: Medicare Supplement policies do not cover maintenance prescription drugs. For that, you will need a Prescription Drug Plan which is called Medicare Part D. I can help you with that and find you the best coverage.
Medicare Advantage Plan (often called Medicare Part C) Click here to Shop Plans
- This is an ‘all in one’ plan which combines Medicare Part A and B into one plan and usually includes Medicare Part D (prescription drug coverage)
- May have lower out-of-pocket costs than Original Medicare and utilize a network of doctors, hospitals and facilities
- Often include extra benefits not provided by Original Medicare such as dental, vision, hearing and gym memberships
- Most come with low or even zero premium options
